Nope. Trade for a young proven defenseman (OEL) or do nothing. Not worth wasting assets unless its a steal.

I hope nothing gets done that sacrifices any futures. We are heavily outshot every night. I just can't see this being a year the devs go beyond the first round in playoffs. If anything move a goalie or Green if the price is right.

Who would he replace? Zajac won't be on the 4th line, Boyle won't be on the 1st line with Hall, and zacha has turned his game up

Other than the month Boyle came back he has provided little offense. Once players are healthy he will be playing with someone other than hayes

I can't see Ray wasting real assets for the short term and not expecting anything big. Schlemko was a solid help at a cheap price and I'll take that all day. I'd love to see Ray trade some cap space for assets if that opportunity comes up. Whatever happens, I trust the guy. He's done a great job.

I can already see the future on this game with Todd saying "Well, the Devils survived a weekend of being outplayed, but luck finally turned against them as the Devils continue to give up 40+ shots. Kinkaid went back to giving up a goal in the first five minutes and the Devils couldn't stay out of the box....Taylor Hall's streak was finally snapped as no other Devils line stepped up to take on the pressure..."

I mean Parise had that same type of non stop motor and we know how that turned out. However I expect Shero to be wiser in this regards then Lou and have him signed to an extension early.
